This time I posted to the AT&T twitter help and received a phone call from a representative. Now it's the end of November and I get my bill and still being charged for the new phones without any credits and no verification of my old phones being received.
I explained what I was told initially when I ordered the new phones and was given a credit and to wait til the next month and see what my bill does. I was told I should have received different labels to return the old phones then the ones in the box. I contacted AT&T through the chat feature again and was told this time that the credits wouldn't start for 3 months and they also could not verify my old phones were received. I also hadn't received any confirmation of my old phones being received by AT&T. On my next bill I saw I was being charged $27 a piece for each new phone. I sent my old phones back within about 10 days of receiving the 7's. After my questions were answered the representative walked me through the ordering process online. I also asked how to return my 6s's for the promotion and was told to use the label in the box that the 7's would come in. I specifically asked how long does it take for the monthly credits to start. I went on the chat feature on AT&T and talked to a representative about the promotion and how it works. I preordered 2 iPhone 7's back in the middle of September with the promotion of returning my iPhone 6s's so I would get the iPhone 7's free.
